summer reading
 Grades 9-12
This summer we are going to focus on non-fiction and more specifically current events for 9th-11th graders and scholarly journal articles for incoming seniors. For grades 9-11, you are to select three full-length articles that interest you.  Read each article, record the relevant bibliographic information (title, author, publication, and date of publication), and complete the handout provided. Be prepared to present the completed handouts or outlines the first week of school. When school begins, you will use the completed handouts to write an analysis essay to assess critical thinking, writing, and grammar skills.
