Congratualtions on the start of a wonderful new school year and welcome to a wonderful year of studying Eastern Hemisphere and Introduction to Foreign Language. We have a very busy and exciting year in store for us and a great group of students. I am relly looking forward to an enjoyable and rewarding school year.
About Me:
This is my fifth year to teach at BMS and I enjoy teaching here immensely. Previously, I lived in El Salvoador where I taught World History in the American School there. I have eleven years of teaching experience and consider myself very fortunate to be among such a professional staff.
I realize that teaching your child is a privilege, as well as a tremendous responsibility. One of my major objectives is to assist each student in developing the ability to organize, maintain and incorporate the information presented in class to maximize student success. Furthermore, I will do my best this year to ensure that each student has a motivating and positive learning experience in the classroom. However, I can not do this without your help. We both need to be partners with our students in the learning process. I need you to encourage your child at home by helping to ensure that he or she has completed the assignments and has studied for quizzes and tests, when necessary.
I know we are going to have a great year! I am looking forward to working with your child and sharing with him or her the excitement and intrigue history has to offer as well as the anticipation and excitement of learning a new language.
