Senior Project
Senior Project will demonstrate the following skills: reading, writing, speaking, accessing and processing information, thinking, self-discipline, problem solving, organization and implementing technology. These skills will be showcased through a four phase process to include observation in a business environment along with the creation of a portfolio; a typed research paper; a related service product to demonstrate an aspect of composed teachers, community members and professionals in the various fields researched for Senior Project.
Communications in Business
Communications in Business is designed to enable the student to communicate in a clear, concise, and correct manner on personal and professional levels. By incorporating critical-thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills into this course, the student is better able to communicate. Students will learn the importance of verbal and non-verbal communications. They will learn to write letters and participate in interviews. Proper business etiquette and human relation skills will be stressed. The course will help the individual student gain a vital skill that is needed in today’s world. It is a .5 credit semester class.
Accounting
This course will allow students to learn accounting terminology, principles, and procedures. The study of accounting will prepare students for accounting careers and for personal use, and will provide opportunities for further study.
