A Message from Dr. Maulding

Welcome to the Rankin County School District’s  Office of Curriculum and Instruction website.  This office is committed to eliciting maximum performance from each student.  Student achievement levels are impacted positively as instructional professionals work to assure that curriculum offerings address student needs.  Each school in the district selects curricular programs that meet the unique needs of their population.

The Rankin County School District provides an instructional management system that includes the competencies required in the curriculum frameworks approved by the Mississippi Department of Education. This curriculum structure is designed to respond to student needs and abilities, while ensuring opportunities for academic excellence.
