Welcome to our Internet Project Page!

Our first grade class participated in an Internet Project.  We read the story "Where the Wild Things Are" by Maurice Sendak.  Our students extended the story by writing the next 10 sentences of this story.  They wrote about what the Wild Things did when Max left them.

The students wrote the story as an interactive writing project in class. We learned about the illustrations in Maurice Sendak's book, Where the Wild Things Are, and the students worked in partners to illustrate each page. Then we posted our project on the internet to share with other schools.
