As a child, all I wanted to do was be a math teacher. My dad is a teacher and it seemed like a cool job. During my teenage years, however, I began working. I loved working, so after graduating high school, I put my desire to teach on hold and worked full time for several years. As the years went by, it dawned on me that the job I was working was a dead end job. Even though I liked my boss and liked the job, I decided it was time for me to go to college. At that point, I enrolled at Hinds Community College where I went on to graduate. After Hinds, I decided to further my education at Ole Miss. It was there that I received my Bachelors in Elementary Education with my endorsements in Math and English.
It is my joy to teach your loved one. It is my desire to create within your loved one a desire to persevere no matter what life brings. I continue to tell them that if they can defeat the negative thoughts in their head then they will be a successful person with a successful life. Would you please help me in this endeavor?
