As society changes, the skills you (students) need to be successful in life also will change. A successful 21st century student has to also be adept at managing information skills, evaluating and applying new content understanding with great flexibility. We all need to improve our searching, evaluating and communication skills in a changing information environment. We all need to be able to access information critically and competently, to use the information effectively and creatively. In other words, become INFORMATION LITERATE. |

For those of you who enjoy trivia, there will be subject questions daily in the Library. For example: Mon: Math/Science Tue: History/Travel/Geography Wed: SAT words Thur: Health Fri: Arts/Sports Once you have completed five of the questions correctly, there will be an announcement for you to pick up your reward from the Library. Listen for your name during the morning announcements. Every question is worth one point, including the bonus questions. If for some reason you can’t get by the Library, feel free to email your answers to: jess.adams@rcsd.ms. Put your complete name and grade in the subject area. Answers have to be in before 4PM each day. |
