Welcome to the Rankin County Learning Center
The Rankin County Learning Center serves many purposes. The main objective of our school is to support and assist all Rankin County Schools with the education of those students who are unsuccessful in traditional schools and need an alternative setting. Referrals to the Learning Center are made for students with behavioral problems, academic problems (students who are two or more years behind) and students who would like to opt out of the general curriculum to obtain their GED. We offer various programs in order to attempt to meet the diverse needs of a growing population of students who require a structured environment and unique instructional strategies.
