Ms. Leigh Ann Ross

Leigh Ann Ross is an assistant band director and color guard instructor at Brandon High School. This will be her sixth year with the Brandon Band program. Her duties include directing the 7th grade band, teaching beginner flute, and directing the color guard and winter guard programs. Under her direction the auxiliary programs have received numerous superior ratings, were a WGI Atlanta Regional finalist in 2014, were the 2011 and 2015 Mississippi Indoor Association SAA State Champions, and 2017 Mississippi Indoor Assocation SN Bronze Medalists and SAA Silver Medalists. This past year the Brandon Winter Guard made their premiere performance at Winter Guard International World Championships in Dayton, OH. In addition to her work at Brandon, Ms. Ross has also been the color guard instructor for Hinds Community College, Mississippi College, and was the co-founder of Statement Independent Winter Guard. Currently, Ms. Ross is working to complete a Masters in Education from Belhaven University.
