RCSD Administration of the ACT
The Rankin County School District (RCSD) is offering the ACT to interested 9th and 12th grade students on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at our local high schools!
Please note:
· This parent opt-in ACT is only available for 9th and 12th grade students.
· 10th grade students will test on March 24, 2026, at no cost to families, with payment covered by RCSD.
· 11th grade students will test on February 24, 2026, at no cost to families, with payment covered by the State of Mississippi.
· The school will handle the registration for all 10th and 11th grade students.
If you would like your 9th or 12th grade student to participate in the ACT administered by RCSD on March 24, 2026, simply submit the payment. The school will complete the registration on your behalf.
ACT Fee: $50
Payment Deadline: January 23, 2026
To ensure your student is registered with ACT to test, payment must be received by January 23, 2026. This is a firm, non-negotiable deadline.
Important Information:
- Students must be present on March 24, 2026, to take the paper/pencil version of the ACT. There will be no makeup test.
- If your student qualifies for accommodations, please notify your School Test Coordinator to request the appropriate testing accommodations from ACT.
Payment can be made via MySchoolBucks.
