RCSD Administration of the ACT ** Coming Soon**
The Rankin County School District (RCSD) is offering the ACT to interested 9th - 12th grade students on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at our local high schools!
Please note:
· This parent opt-in ACT is available for 9th -12th grade students.
· 10th grade students will test on March 23, 2027, at no cost to families, with payment covered by RCSD.
· 11th grade students will test on (TBD), at no cost to families, with payment covered by the State of Mississippi.
· The school will handle the registration for all 10th and 11th grade students on those future dates.
If you would like your 9th-12th grade student to participate in the ACT administered by RCSD on October 27, 2026, simply submit the payment. The school will complete the registration on your behalf.
ACT Fee: $50
Payment Deadline: TBD
To ensure your student is registered with ACT to test, payment must be received by August 21, 2026. This is a firm, non-negotiable deadline.
Important Information:
- Students must be present on October 27, 2026, to take the paper/pencil version of the ACT. There will be no makeup test.
- If your student qualifies for accommodations, please notify your School Test Coordinator to request the appropriate testing accommodations from ACT.
