
Annual Public Notice of Non-discrimination in Career & Technical Education Programs
The Rankin County School District offers Career and Technical Education programs in Agriculture and Natural Resources, Culinary Arts, Educator Preparation, Engineering, Health Science, Law and Public Safety, and Sports Medicine. Students in Grades 10-12 are also offered programs at the Pearl/Rankin Career and Technical Center, depending on program availability. The programs offered at the Pearl/Rankin Career and Technical Center are Architecture and Drafting, Automotive Services, Business/Marketing/Finance, Collision Repair, Construction Core, Culinary Arts, Digital Media Technology/Multimedia, Early Childhood Education, Health Science, Simulation and Animation/Interactive Media Technology, and Welding. Career and Technical Education courses that are offered to high school students on their home campus include Family and Consumer Science, Work-Based Learning, Exploring Computer Science, and Computer Science and Engineering. All grade 7-8 students are offered middle school technology courses on their home campus. Specific program descriptions and prerequisites can be found in the curriculum handbook here.
