Title I, Part D (Delinquent)
Prevention and Intervention Programs for Delinquent Children and Youth
Title I, Part D (Delinquent) funds, authorized under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), support educational programs and services for students who are involved in the juvenile justice system or who are at risk of academic failure. The purpose of these funds is to improve educational achievement, support successful transitions back to traditional school settings, reduce dropout rates, and provide students with the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports needed to succeed. Our district uses Title I, Part D funds to help eligible students overcome barriers to learning and successfully continue their education.
