What Is Frontiers?
Frontiers is the self-funded tuition-based after-school enrichment program serving K4 (where applicable) through sixth grade students enrolled in Rankin County School District (or whose chronological age is 12 as of September 1 of this year). Operating in the school's cafeteria, students stay in their own school with their friends. Frontiers runs from dismissal time at each school until 6 p.m. daily, operating on the school calendar, closing for all school holidays, the two reduced days, and for the summer.
Frontiers is a structured environment featuring an afternoon snack, homework time, supervised play, and an extensive Enrichment Curriculum with a different thematic unit each week.
The primary goal of Frontiers is and has always been to provide a friendly, fun, family-like atmosphere in which children are nurtured and can feel safe and secure. We take, very seriously, the trust that parents have shown by placing their children in Frontiers--many of them year after year. We pledge to do our utmost to provide the best possible environment for the students in our care. May you find that Frontiers is the perfect fit for your family's after-school care needs.
