2020/2021 Registration Information
To adhere to cafeteria capacities as set by Rankin County School District officials, enrollment maximums for each site have been adjusted for the 2020-2021 school year to ensure social distancing, as feasible, during Frontiers. Once the site maximum has been reached, a waiting list will be maintained. As spots become available, they will be offered in order of the waiting list. (Unfortunately, there is no way to know when spots will open as it strictly depends on when an enrolled family no longer needs our services.) For spot availability or to see where you are on a waiting list, please contact the site. Site phone numbers may be found here. Waiting lists start over each school year.
As noted in RCSD’s Smart Restart Plan, schools may transition between three learning scenarios: Enhanced-Traditional, Hybrid, and “Brick2Click” (Full Distance) Learning. Here’s how each scenario will affect Frontiers:
Enhanced-Traditional Learning Scenario:
- Tuition during this scenario will remain $135 per child, per month, and the discounted rate for district employees will remain $115 per child, per month.
Hybrid Learning Scenario:
- To best serve parents during Hybrid learning, Frontiers students will be able to attend Frontiers (all day) on the days in which the student is assigned to learn form home for an additional fee of $30 per child, per week regardless of attendance.
- Frontiers will not open on Wednesdays as this is the designated cleaning day for the district.
- Parents will be required to provide morning transportation to school/Frontiers (via the school's car rider line) on Hybrid days.
Brick2Click Learning Scenario:
If school transitions to “Brick2Click” (full distance) Learning at any time during the school year, Frontiers will close until students return to campuses.
