2024 Energy Star Schools

We’re proud to announce that 15 of our 28 schools have earned the prestigious Energy Star designation for superior energy performance! This achievement reflects their commitment to energy efficiency, cost savings, and environmental impact.

Special thanks to Rusty Ponder, our Energy Management Coordinator, and Brett Rasmussen, Utilities Engineer at Nissan, for their guidance and dedication. Since 2006, RCSD’s Energy Management Program has saved over $4.3 million!
