Free Lunch and Breakfast Beginning September 21

All students in the Rankin County School District will receive free lunch and breakfast (breakfast at sites where available) beginning September 21st through December 31, 2020. The free meals are made possible through an extension of the USDA’s federally funded, state administered Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). The program allowed schools to provide meals free of charge for students during school closure due to the pandemic in the spring and through the summer.  Now, the special waivers have been extended to allow RCSD students to continue this program through the end of the year. If you use www.MyPaymentsPlus.com, auto payment will be turned off. Any remaining account balance will carry over to January 2021. Meals are free to all RCSD students ONLY. The www.MyPaymentsPlus.com general fund will still be available for chips, ice cream, or extra milk.  If you are a CHOICE student, please continue to complete the online pre-order form for curbside pickup. We encourage you to complete a Free & Reduced Meal Application. These will need to be in place when the USDA Free Meal Program ends December 31, 2020 or until Federal Funds last.

Todos los estudiantes en el Distrito Escolar del Condado de Rankin recibirán almuerzo y desayuno gratis (desayuno en los sitios donde esté disponible) a partir del 21 de septiembre hasta el 31 de diciembre de 2020.
