NWRHS Students selected for United States Senate Youth Program

The United States Senate Youth Program announced Northwest Rankin High School student Ms. Vaibhavi Jayant Mahajan will join Senator Roger F. Wicker and Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith in representing Mississippi during the 60th annual USSYP Washington Week, to be held virtually in March. Two students from each state are chosen for this program. Vaibhavi is among the state’s top student leaders to be part of the 104 national student delegation who will also receive a $10,000 college scholarship. There are also two alternates that are also chosen from each state. Ben Curry, a Northwest Rankin High School senior, was named as one of Mississippi’s two alternates.
