Rankin County School District Announces Ribbon-Cutting Event to Celebrate Completion of the Florence Elementary School Bond Issue Project

Florence, Mississippi, January 2020 – The Rankin County School District welcomed guests to commemorate the completion of the Florence Elementary School Bond Issue Project with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Florence Elementary School. The dedication took place on January 23, 2020 at 9:30 am.

Florence Elementary received four additional classrooms, electrical upgrade, new intercom/fire alarm, painting, toilet renovations, ceiling lights as needed, new serving line, special needs playground, P.E. room, security cameras for doors/halls, and improvements to traffic circulation and parking.
