My name is Jennifer O'Neal, and I am a Career and Technical Teacher. I have been a teacher at BHS for 13 years, and my classes include Contemporary Health and Family Dynamics. My classes inform students on the rising epidemic of obesity in our country, the benefits of positive self-esteem and good mental health, preparing and eating nutritious meals on a budget, physical activity's impact on health, and so much more! Contemporary Health and Nutrition and Wellness encompass information from classes such as Human A&P, Biology, Transition Math, and Chemistry.
I am a native of Morton, MS, and graduate of Morton High School. I am an alumna of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Apparel Design and Merchandising with an emphasis in Marketing.
This is my second year as the Brandon High School Head Cheer Coach. Brandon High School Varsity Cheerleading holds the 2017 titles of MHSAA State Cheer Small Coed Champions and MHSAA State Jr High/JV State Champions. Brandon High School Cheer was also recognized on the national level in January 2018 by placing 2nd at the NCA High School National Championship in Dallas, TX.
