Items needed to register your child for Kindergarten

Enrollment forms

Enrollment forms provided at each school site. To make registering quick and easy you may download all forms at www.rcsd.ms/kindergarten, fill them out, and bring them with you. 

State certified birth certificate (Must be original)

A copy for student’s records will be made.

Mississippi Certificate of Immunization Compliance Form 121

Student’s Social Security Card

A copy will be made for student’s records (optional).

Group I Proof of Residency

Homestead exemption, lease, mortgage OR property deed with current address on it.

Group II Proof of Residency

Current utility bill dated within 30 days of enrollment.

>> Acceptable bills include: Electricity, gas, landline telephone, cable TV, satellite TV, and water bill

Note: If an item is not provided, registration is considered incomplete and the child cannot be placed on a class roll.
